The Muscatine Children's and Youth Choirs were founded in 1998 as a community ministry of Wesley Church.
The choirs now involve nearly 100 young people in 4 different choirs. All choirs offer
young people in the Muscatine area an opportunity to develop their vocal talents and join with other musicians in making beautiful music. Besides the obvious musical training these young musicians receive, the benefits of singing in a demanding choir program are many: self-control and self-mastery, independent thinking, teamwork, service, analytical thinking, poise, confidence, focus, and discipline are but a few.
An ongoing exchange program with Gjakova, Kosovo guided by one simple philosophy. Music is the common language that bridges all ethnic and cultural divides.
